How to place an online
sports bet
Once you have made your first deposit, you
are ready to start placing wagers in the sportsbook.
How to Place a Single Wager
- Choose the sport/event type you want
to bet by clicking on the sport/event type link on the sportsbook
schedule. A list of available events will be displayed, along with the
types of wagers you can make on that event.
- Choose the wager you would like by clicking in the
check box next to one of the available wager types then click the "Single"
button above the events, or click directly on the odds. The Enter Bet
Amount screen will be displayed. (You will be asked to login if you have
not already done so.)
- Enter in the desired risk or win amount and click
"Next". The Confirm Bet page will be displayed.
- Confirm you have the correct team and bet amount
then select "Confirm Bet". The Bet Placed page will be displayed.
- Wager has been confirmed and accepted by Bodog.
Make a note of your Wager Reference Number for future reference.
Parlay or Teaser Betting
For more excitement try a parlay or teaser,
just click on the checkboxes next to the lines you want, and then click the
"Parlay" or "Teaser" button.
How to Place a Parlay
- Choose the first sport/event type
you want to bet by clicking on the sport/event type link on the sportsbook
schedule. A list of available events will be displayed, along with the
types of wagers you can make on that event.
- Choose the wager you would like by clicking in the
check box next to one of the available wager types then click "Add to
Picks". The pick will be displayed in the "My Picks" panel above the
schedule.
- Choose the second wager you would like by clicking
in the check box next to one of the available wager types then click "Add
to Picks". The pick will be displayed in the "My Picks" panel above the
schedule. (Use the Event Schedules menu to change the sport/event type if
the second pick is from a different sport/event type)
- Repeat step 3 for each wager you want to parlay.
- You should now see the list of wagers in the "My
Picks" panel. Make sure you have a check in the box next to each event you
want to parlay and click the "Parlay" button above the events. The Enter
Bet Amount screen will be displayed. (You will be asked to login if you
have not already done so.)
- Enter in the desired risk or win amount and click
"Next". The Confirm Bet page will be displayed.
- Confirm you have the correct team and bet amount
then select "Confirm Bet". The Bet Placed page will be displayed.

check box next to one of the available wager types then click "Add to
Picks". The pick will be displayed in the "My Picks" panel above the
schedule.
- Choose the second wager you would like by clicking
in the check box next to one of the available wager types then click "Add
to Picks". The pick will be displayed in the "My Picks" panel above the
schedule. (Use the drop-down events list to change the sport/event type if
the second pick is from a different sport/event type)
- Repeat step 3 for each wager you want to Tease.
- You should now see the list of wagers in the "My
Picks" panel. Make sure you have a check in the box next to each event you
want to tease and click the "Teaser" button above the events. The Enter
Bet Amount screen will be displayed. (You will be asked to login if you
have not already done so.)
- Enter in the desired risk or win amount, click on
one of the odds to select an amount to tease (spreads/totals will change
accordingly), then click "Next". The Confirm Bet page will be displayed.
- Confirm you have the correct team and bet amount
then select "Confirm Bet". The Bet Placed page will be displayed.
- Wager has been confirmed and accepted by Bodog.
Make a note of your Wager Reference Number for future reference.
Cross-Sport Parlays and Teasers
To place cross-sport parlays and teasers,
select a sport from the drop-down menu, make your pick, select "Add to
Picks", choose your next sport or event and repeat to build your pick list.
Once your list is complete, you can combine your picks by clicking on the
checkboxes next to each pick, then choose "Parlay" or "Teaser". |
