Bodog Sportsbook rules
- All rules, regulations, and payoffs
hitherto for are prone to revision by Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker
without prior written notice to the member. Management reserves the right
to refuse or limit any wager. Players acknowledge that the Internet is not
a 100% reliable medium and understand that Management will not offer
compensation of any nature for any wagers that are not accepted by the
transaction servers, no matter what the reason. Management further
reserves the right to restrict wagering on any event at any time without
any advance notice to player.
- Lines are available 24 hours-a-day provided there
are boarded games.
- Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker only accepts
eCash as payment for any wagers. Before wagering, it is necessary to open
a Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker eCash account. The player shall be
responsible for keeping him/herself informed of the balance of their
account, as well as the account history.
- All winnings shall be credited to that player's
Bodog Sportsbook & Casino account, and all losses shall be deducted from
the same account.
- Bets for which there is no valid proof of payment
will not be accepted, nor will bets made by players that do not have
enough money in their account to cover the minimum bet requirement.
- Credit is not given for bets. All bets must be
covered when made.
- Any and all bets placed in an attempt in any way to
defraud Bodog Sportbook, Casino and Poker and/or made by or contracted by
any bookmaker, gambling syndicate, and/or any person, parties,
organization, friends or relatives either individually or in partnership
or in conjunction with any other person, parties, organization, friends,
relatives, firms or corporations in any manner whatsoever who carry on or
become engaged in or be concerned with or interested in or advise, lend
money to, guarantee the debts or obligations of any business of the kind
or similar to the kind of business of Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker
shall be voided and the balances in said player accounts related to these
wagers that was paid by Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker to player shall
be refunded automatically to Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker.
- Anyone deemed to have wagered in a syndicate-like
fashion so as to receive either eCash winnings or activity bonuses will
have all winnings and bonus activity payouts from said activity
withheld, and will not receive a payout of any kind in direct relation
to the aforementioned. Bodog Sportbook, Casino and Poker also reserves
the right to keep the principle of any wager placed in an attempt to
defraud the house of any bonus monies, whether a party does this on
their own or in collusion with other players or other sportsbooks.
- Reverse Activity will not be permitted. Reverse
Activity is described as wagering both sides of a single event for the
purpose of falsely achieving a stated minimum of wagering activity in
order to qualify this or any account for any bonus.
- Collecting wagers or placing wagers is prohibited
by anyone under the age of 18 years.
- Las Vegas rules, regulations, payoffs and wager
types apply where not covered herein.
- All Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker transactions
are legally processed under approval of the government of Costa Rica. All
transactions and wagers shall be considered originating from and governed
by the laws of Costa Rica. Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker does not
report winnings of individuals to any government agencies.
- No bet may be cancelled, changed, or modified by
the bettor, in any way, once it has been received and accepted by Bodog
Sportsbook, Casino and Poker.
- Internet wagers are not guaranteed. Wagers are
valid when accepted by Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker's transaction
server whether or not you are assigned with a wager transaction number. If
there are any doubts, the player should check their Bodog Sportsbook,
Casino and Poker account statement and/or contact Customer Service
immediately. This can be accessed from the menu bar on Bodog Sportsbook,
Casino and Poker via the Cashier link. If you would like more details,

Important: Always check your Bodog account statement
after placing all your bets!
- All wagers will be accepted up to the starting time
of the sporting event. All sporting events must be played on the scheduled
day unless otherwise specified. Sporting events postponed and then
rescheduled will automatically constitute a "No Action" wager, in which
case all money to cover the wager will be returned to the player's
account.
- In the case of an obvious error on the posted
line, any and all single wagers will be deemed a "No Action" wager and
all money to cover said wagers will be refunded to the player's account.
Parlays and Teasers involving such lines will be reduced accordingly.
Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker will adjust the line appropriately to
remedy the situation outlined above. The line replacing the obvious
error will be deemed the true line or odds for wagering purposes. This
is understood and accepted by players who recognize this error.
- A bet shall be deemed to be invalid when:
- It is submitted later than the deadline
- It is completed erroneously or incorrectly
- It is a wager on an obvious line error
- Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker reserves the
right to limit the maximum amount wagered, prior to Bodog Sportsbook,
Casino and Poker acceptance of any bet.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, minimum and
maximum bets shall be determined solely and exclusively by Bodog
Sportsbook, Casino and Poker.
- Management of Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker
monitors all wagers, point and/or price changes made prior to the start of
an event by computer to help minimize errors, and to aid in properly
settling disputes. All phone-in transactions will be recorded and repeated
to the player. These recordings will be used to settle all wagering
disputes. In all cases of disputes, both management and the member agree
that the tape recording of the transaction shall serve as the final
arbiter in the dispute. A player's acceptance of a readback, at the time
the bet was placed, will constitute the player's consent for the wager in
question.
- Records of all transactions (Internet and Call
Center) will be saved to a file on a back-up system. In all cases of
dispute, both management of Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker and the
player agree that the file tape backup shall serve as the final authority
in the dispute. Where appropriate, wagers will be adjusted accordingly.
The last read back of the wager will be used as the exact determinant for
the claim outcome for Call Center wagers. The transaction log database
will serve as the final arbiter for Internet wagers. Contests must be
lodged within 3 days of an event outcome being determined. No claims will
be honored after this 3-day period. The player is solely responsible for
verifying the accuracy of all their eCash account transactions.
- Printed pointspreads at the time bets are accepted,
are used to determine winners, losers and ties. Bodog Sportsbook, Casino
and Poker shall maintain a record of all pointspreads, odds, final scores
and related betting propositions, and statistics to protect both the
player and Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker in case of obvious
mechanical or human error.
- Players are solely responsible for their account
transactions. Please be sure to review your wagers for any mistake, error,
or omission before sending them over the computer. Once a bet is placed
over the computer it cannot be changed.
Important: Check all bets carefully!
- This agreement is governed by the laws of Costa
Rica. All transactions and wagers shall be considered originating from,
and governed by, the laws of Costa Rica. Disputes or claims that arise
directly or indirectly out of this Agreement will be brought before a
court in Costa Rica. Bodog Sportbook, Casino and Poker has the right to
apply in similar appropriate courts any injunction or like remedy to
restrain you from committing any breach of this agreement, and for
consequential damages.
- It is understood that Bodog Sportsbook, Casino
and Poker is a foreign company, and as such, does not report the account
activities, winnings or losses of its members to any government
agencies. Therefore, it is the player's responsibility, if applicable,
to report any winnings to their respective government agency.
- Any situations not covered by the rules described
herein or elsewhere on Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker web site will be
settled by applying the rules of the Nevada Gaming Commission. However,
rules of Bodog Sportsbook & Casino are final.
- Management reserves the right to refuse wagers
that differ from posted Las Vegas lines by four points or more.
- It is in your best interests to guard your Account
Number and Password from unauthorized usage. If your Account Number and
Password are lost or compromised, please contact Bodog Sportsbook, Casino
and Poker immediately. Bodog Sportbook, Casino and Poker will freeze your
account to bar further access upon receipt of this notification. By
accepting this agreement, you are liable for any unauthorized use of the
your Account Number and Password.
- Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker reserves the
right to cancel wagering privileges at any time.
- All published odds are for information purposes
only. It is understood that all odds are subject to change. Odds accepted
at the actual time a bet is placed shall be deemed valid.
- Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker is not liable
for printing or other errors relative to the transfer of information.
- Bodog Sportsbook, Casino and Poker, reserves the
right to inform the public of obvious mistakes/errors (the incorrect
posting of odds), and to make the appropriate adjustments.
- If eCash is credited to a player's account in
error, it is incumbent upon that player to notify Bodog Sportsbook, Casino
and Poker of the aforesaid error without delay. Any winnings realized
after the error, whether directly or indirectly subsequent to the error
but prior to notification of Bodog Sportbook, Casino and Poker , shall be
void.
